Transforming online education to meet the changing needs of learners
APU Korea Education Centre felt that the traditional Korean textbook-based teaching method could not keep up with the rapidly changing needs of learners. In recent years, students have been exposed to the Korean language in advance through YouTube or TV programs, and they were concerned that not keeping up with this trend would decrease their motivation and interest in learning. This led to the introduction of master k.
master k is optimized for online teaching methods and provides a system that takes into account the individual learning level and pace of the learner. It goes beyond simple lecture-style classroom instruction and provides a structured learning path that is tailored to the learner's individual learning goals through a digital platform. Learners can work wherever and whenever they want, and instructors can monitor their progress and address gaps in real time.
Not only do these online learning environments more accurately reflect the needs of learners, but they have also given teachers the opportunity to be more creative and varied in their teaching methods.

Leverage self-paced learning and AI-powered learning tools
Maximizing self-directed learning is at the heart of master k. The flipped learning approach, which utilizes digital content, allows students to learn on their own before the main lesson. This allows for more in-depth discussions or hands-on exercises in class, and gives teachers a more nuanced view of each student's understanding.
master k also provides a variety of quiz and test question sets that can be used as a question bank. Teachers can easily organize test questions and students can fill in the gaps by reviewing.
Of particular note is the AI Speak feature, which allows students to correct their own pronunciation and intonation for review. Many students are shy or hesitant to speak up in class, but the AI Speak feature allows them to learn in the comfort of their own home, building their confidence.
In addition, the ability to conduct important assessments, such as final exams, online allows for efficient administration.

Multilingual support and efficient online learning
Malaysia is a multiracial, multicultural country where many different languages are spoken. Considering these characteristics, APU Korea Education Centre has actively used master k's multilingual e-learning content.
Students can study Korean content in a variety of languages, including English, so that students with limited English proficiency can continue their learning without difficulty. This lowers the learning barrier and helps more students achieve a stable Korean education.
The AI pronunciation assessment feature also helps students to repeatedly correct their pronunciation. Even students who are shy about speaking up in class can feel comfortable practicing with AI, which can help them maximize their learning.
These features enable personalized learning that takes into account each student's learning pace and level, which has significantly improved student satisfaction.
